Al-Sidra Association for Psychological Care of Cancer Patients

Al-Sidra Association for Psychological Care of Cancer Patients was established in 2012 with the belief in the importance of mental health and its effective and clear effects on patients' response physically to treatment. The Association’s team continues to research how to overcome all obstacles that may face cancer patients and provide the utmost psychological care, comfort and positive environment. In 2018, Sidra developed its services to meet other needs, such as providing financial support for patients unable to afford the cost of diagnosis and treatment at the Kuwait Cancer Center (such as providing a stamp in category of 10 Kuwaiti dinars, doctor visits and dispensing medicines - covering the costs of staying inside hospital wards - blood tests and radiology). In 2019, it started home care for advanced cancer patients, which aims to reduce burdens in the last stages of their lives.
