Establishing a camp to shelter 150 displaced families in Jabalia and northern Gaza Strip

Long months of war have passed over the people of Gaza, changing the features of the cities, leaving them with nothing but rubble.

However, with the war over, thousands of families now need safe shelter after their homes were destroyed and they lost their belongings.

Our project is relief and shelter by establishing and equipping a camp to shelter 150 displaced families in Jabalia and the northern Gaza Strip.

The camp consists of 150 tents with all the necessary facilities for a decent life including a well, toilets and solar energy systems.

Number of beneficiaries: 900 individuals

Tent price: 218 KD

Contribution to the attachments: 30 KD

Zakat is permissible for the project

Be our partner in goodness, for relieving the distress of the afflicted is a great virtue. That is why the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “A Muslim is a brother to a Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor does he hand him over.” That is to say, he does not let him down. Whoever attends to the need of his brother, God will attend to his need. Whoever relieves a Muslim of a worldly distress, God will relieve him of a distress on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever covers up a Muslim, God will cover him up on the Day of Resurrection.
