We aim to provide relief and support to the afflicted in Jenin camp, whose suffering is catastrophic.
Jenin refugee camp in Palestine suffers from a dire humanitarian situation, with thousands of refugees living there. The following are some statistics that illustrate the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis in the camp:
- The number of registered refugees in Jenin camp is about 14,000 people.
Refugees in the camp face a severe shortage of clean water, with only 20 litres of clean water available per person per day, well below the global average of 100 litres per day.
- Refugees in the camp suffer from shortages of food and medicine, with malnourished refugees constituting about 12% of the total population in the camp.
- Refugees in the camp face significant challenges in the field of health, as about 45% of the refugees in the camp suffer from respiratory diseases, and chronic diseases and mental illnesses are among the most important health challenges faced by refugees in the camp.
